Hawgs Sports Network was launched in 2023 by NWA Media to bring together five powerhouse platforms under one unified brand devoted entirely to coverage of University of Arkansas athletics. The network includes:

• Hawgs Illustrated magazine
• The Hawgs Illustrated Sports Club
• Hawgs Illustrated Gameday Extra
• Hawgs Sports Network Daily Podcast

Led by President Brent A. Powers of NWA Media and Northwest Arkansas Newspapers, LLC, the mission of Hawgs Sports Network is to deliver deep, consistent, and high-quality coverage of the Razorbacks across print, digital, events, and audio.

The network is powered by a team of award-winning journalists known for producing the most in-depth and compelling Razorback sports coverage in the state. The editorial team includes:

Hawgs Illustrated Magazine
A premium print publication 100% dedicated to Razorback athletics. Founded over 30 years ago by Hall of Fame journalist Clay Henry, Hawgs Illustrated publishes 20 issues annually in both print and digital formats - continuing a legacy of storytelling that Razorback fans trust.

Hawgs Illustrated Sports Club
A signature live event series celebrating Arkansas athletes. Weekly luncheons are held in the fall during football season, with monthly events the rest of the year. Speakers include current Razorback coaches, players, and alumni.

Hawgs Illustrated Gameday Extra
Published during football season in the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, this game-day special includes previews, predictions, and in-depth analysis of the week’s opponent. It’s a must-read for any tailgater who wants to sound like an expert.
